Autumn Festival in Karuizawa

from September 8th to November 3rd, there is Autumn festival in Karuizawa.

during the period, there are quite a few events happening.

it is very pretty to see red and yellow leaves everywhere in Karuizawa.

(to me, it's so much different from where i used to live, Kelowna, because most of trees are pine tree, so the colour wont change. but we have so many trees that change their colour from green to red or yellow.)

 Karuizawa tourist association   website (japanese)

you can see some pictures as well.

there is also English version available, but it sounds little bit funny since it's done by automated translation.

so i have edited some...

Costco In Japan

We went to Costco in Maebashi-shi, Gunma today. this was the first time for me!!!!
it was pretty big... at least it was bigger than where i used to go...

i checked what they sell and how much they are... cause it might be cheaper than anywhere else:)

and B wanted to have some rootbeer and Dr.Pepper....and so on.

i found them!

and bought a case of Rootbeer (it was A&W brand)

cause i like rootbeer, but not Dr.Pepper...

my parents have never tried rootbeer... i told them that they probably wont like it...

Not many Japanese people dont like it...

i know why! it takes like Japanese medicine! LOL

i like it tho... :P

i havent met many Japanese people who like rootbeer... boo.

anyways.

it was fun to go!

i hope it will help B to have some North American food that hard to buy in Japan.

another foggy day...

it has been foggy all day long.

having foggy days is very common in Karuizawa since it locates really high altitude.
(900-1000m)

sometimes it is very hard to drive...

but today it was better than the other day...
